Land based vacations are fun and can bring families or couples together. The best way to plan a land base vacation is to consider what everyone going will like. If you are a couple that loves to be active and outdoors, a hiking vacation would be a fit for you. If your family likes history, a tour of famous places may be in order. You can go for as long or as short as you like. There are many land vacations that may not take you too far from home.
Land vacations do require planning. Map out your route and decide do you want to get to your destination the quickest way or do you want to take a leisurely pace and stop and see things along the way? Do your research or contact me to do it for you. I have planned a two and half week road trip to Mount Rushmore from Pennsylvania and we saw a lot of new things along the way and learned that we like to visit caves!
You can fly to Florida and still have a “land vacation”. There are plenty of beaches, scenery and unique places to visit. There are endless possibilities where your vacation can take you. Make a list of places you would like to visit and see if any are close enough to combine into one trip. Maybe you want to visit the California Coast and the Grand Canyon is also on your list. Make it an extended trip and drive down the coast and over to Arizona.
Whatever vacation you choose, remember to keep it fun! Be prepared for anything and everything. Contact me today to assist you in planning your next adventure!
